INTERNATIONAL ARCHAEOLOGY DAY 2025 (Free Event)

Our apologies for the early closure of this year's International Archaeology Day Event. Due to unexpected high winds and blowing dirt, the organizers felt it necessary to close down early for safety reasons to prevent injury to event participants and visitors. Please be sure to plan to attend International Archaeology Day in October 2026.

Come and enjoy this popular family-friendly day of archaeology hosted by our community associates, Community Connections, LLC in partnership with Colorado Preservation Inc.

There will be over 30+ exhibitors on Archaeology and History as well as:

-  Three lectures by professional speakers                            -  Live Tipi demonstration

-  Earth Watercolor demonstration                                         -  Indigenous dancers

-  Flintknapping demonstration                                               -  Atlatl throwing demonstration

-  FIRST Lego League

There are also a number of free offsite tours and activities available which require online advance registration to participate as space is limited.

American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters will be onsite.

There will be three food trucks and a beer garden onsite.
