Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

We have two October 2025 archaeology events which are in need of volunteers to help them run smoothly and successfully.  We welcome any assistance, no matter how small!

CAS Annual Conference and Meeting, Auraria Campus, Denver,

October 3-5, 2025:

• The organizers are seeking volunteers to help out on Saturday, October 4th with a number of activities such as packing swag bags, checking in conference attendees, assisting with the annual Alice Hamilton Scholarship Fund auction, and helping attendees with their questions.

International Archaeology Day, Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre, Morrison, October 18, 2025 (8:30am-1:30pm MT):

• CAS-Denver Chapter will once again be participating in International Archaeology Day.  We are seeking volunteers to help with preparation, set up/tear down the day of the event, greeting guests who stop by our table and handing out material about our organization.

• The event’s organizers, Community Connections, LLC are also seeking volunteers to help in a variety of roles during the day of the event. You can contact them directly by filling out their online form available here.
