Member’s Night: Good Company, Good Food, and Good Stories

Join us for a fun time with Denver CAS members on Monday, December 8th, 5-7 pm in the Anderson Room at the Englewood Public Library.  Note:  This a new location.  Please see below for location details.  Bring a snack or dessert to share.  Non-members are welcome to join us, so please bring something to share.

This is our annual member's night, where we share what we've been doing during the year while we share some good food.  There will be stories that feature Piñon Canyon and Picketwire in Colorado, Machu Picchu in Peru, and a short tour of Southern Utah.  Although we’ll be on Zoom, this is so much more fun in person.

We have room in the program to share additional stories and adventures.  If you have a story to share, the more the merrier.  Please contact us to get yourself on the presentation program via the Denver Chapter Contact Us web page or members can email us through the member login portal on the State CAS Website.

Mark your calendars for Monday, December 8, 5-7 pm.  See you there!

New location details - The Englewood Public Library is located northeast of the intersection of Sante Fe (US 85) and Hampden Blvd. (US 285).  In addition to Sante Fe, the location can be reached using  I-25 at the Broadway exit (Southward) or I-25 at the Hampden Ave exit (Westward). Come check this space out and let’s find out if it’s a good spot for future meetings.

Here are the Directions:

The library is located on the northeast corner of the ground (1st) floor of the Englewood Civic Building near the intersection of W. Hampden Ave and Inca St.  The formal address is Englewood Public Library, 1000 Englewood Parkway, Englewood, CO 80110 (location map link).   The main entrance is in the front side (northeast) of the building off the Englewood Parkway roundabout.  The building can also be accessed through the parking garage. The building is accessibility compliant and has elevator access between floors as well as stairs.

The parking structure (which is free and has security) is located to the south of the Civic Building and marked 'City Center Englewood Parking' on the parking map link below.  Look for entrances into the Civic Building at the 1st and 2nd floors.  Parking Location Google Maps link .  It looks like the entrance to the parking is to the left off Inca St just after Tokyo Joe's Restaurant (road is unnamed road).

The light rail and bus transfer center are located to the northwest of the Civic Building on W. Floyd Ave. It's marked on both map links above with 'Englewood' and the light rail symbol. Here is the link to Light rail and Bus Trip Planner information.
